A nice shaded park with a shelter house, playground equipment, park benches, basketball and tennis courts, horseshoe pits, and volleyball court.  (Third and Nebraska)

 

  Selden Community Fitness Center


A non-profit community fitness center located in the back of the public library in what used to be the old jail. Members can join for a low annual fee and have 24/7 access. (109 S. Kansas Avenue)

Golden Plains Walking Trail

A half mile walking trail was built in the fall of 2013 east of the elementary school with donations from the community and a grant from the Kansas Wildlife and Parks in a joint effort between the Golden Plains School and the City of Selden along with the commitment of the Golden Plains Walking Trail Committee. This provides an off-the-street paved area for community members to relax and exercise safely.

 

 

*   Selden Ball Diamond

Children ranging from ages 4-adult join together at the local baseball diamond during the summer to particpate in age-appropriate baseball, ranging from T-ball for the 4-7 year olds, softball for the 8-12 year-olds, and softball for ages 13-adult. (Sixth and Missouri)

 

The Ball diamond can also be used by groups and family members looking to play ball any time.
